I had trouble deciding between this car and the 911. In terms of performance and handling, I've no doubt that the 911 wins, but the Aston Martin Vantage is the car that always raises my pulse when I approach it. It is hand made and feels very solid. If there is one car I want to own for the rest of my life, this is the one.

What we love

  • Looks, handling, bespoke interior design, fantastic engine noise

What we don't

  • Very firm ride, jerky sequential gearbox
